mostly motorsports in stratford ct

Im looking for a indie shop to do a state of the union on my 8 including a compression test. I found this place mostly motor sports just a few minutes from where i work. They claim to be mazda specialists and only do work on the major japanese imports. I called and talked to the owner to get an estimate and he didnt sound unknowledgeable and quoted me 90 to do an inspection and compression test.

I was just wondering if anyone has heard of them or used them before?

I have had my 8 in there several times since I bought it in 2010, the owner Chris races RX7's and and knows all about the rotary engine in general. Although I don't think he does much of the work on cars brought in for repairs himself but the guys working on the cars are under his supervision so I wouldn't worry about bringing your car in there. I actually in the next week or so plan on bringing my 8 back to have them check the suspension as I am hearing a little clinking when going over bumps. I'd say give it a shot and bring it in, maybe you'll see my titanium grey 8 down there too good luck!

Thanks for the review. They are extremely convenient for me being only a few minutes down the road.
