This def belongs on the the regional forum but this one gets more exposure so deal with it.

Rte 25 in monroe CT has been having some construction for the past month or so and on my way home one day i came down the home stretch to see a dark grey RX8 parked in the workers area. It has dark wheels with red stripes on them and a tein sticker on the back driver window. I was just wondering if the guy was on the boards so i could say hi. It's a great looking 8!

This forum has 84 thousand members. You feel that is so important that all 84k members know that one of the construction workers on rt 25 in Monroe CT drives an rx8?

i put it here so i had the best chance of getting the guys attention. I was just trying to make a local rx friend. If you're trying to reach someone or point out something do you want it to go to the 84K members or just the 2 guys that actually follow the NE regional forum?!? Why does this board always have to be so anti everything, now i might never know who drives that 8.

You know the more i read your comment the more it pisses me off. OF all the posts on this board that are "important" to all 84K members why is this one diminished just because it asks about a local to me driver, wtf.

Who cares about that 84K number anyway, the most users ever online was 1,943 back in 2010...yes 2010. What makes you have to point out that im trying to be a dick by forcing my post down 84K members throats when this place is probably lucky to even get 1% of that who actually spend enough time to see my post or anyone else's for that matter. I did what i did for a reason not because i was being a spoiled brat like you would like to think.

Thanks RWWIP for moving this thread to deathtown. I thought we had an understanding after my lounge thread about these anti people. It's not like i posted another wheres my plugs question.

You are right. This site doesn't see all 84k members at once. But I bet that if that guy decides one day to come on and look for somebody to cruise with, he's not going to look in the general discussion section. He would look in the regional forum. And now that your thread is in the proper section, he may be able to find it.

For those that don't frequent the site that much, the "new posts" and "rx8 live!" features are useless. There would be hundreds of pages to go through. Half of which are in the general discussion. Your thread would be lost in that mess and would never get found.
