I know this is a long shot, but does anyone have a turbo or s/c rx8 out here who'd like to show it off? Need a modded Rx-8 that can beat a stock Z in a drag race.

im sure it wil beat any 350z in the country
but its a shop car so i dont know if they will abuse it for your film.
p.s give us sometime as a stock z isnt something for a 8 to worry about.there are some great mods being made by sr motorsports and canzoomerand im sure more in time that will give a 8 some pep of course the driver comes to play

well no nitrous and the cheaper the better. seeing as the rx8 is a bargain compared to the Z at $3k less
If it could beat it for 3k in mods, it would truley be the superior car.
but the problem is everywhere i look i find seriously fast turbo or s/c Z's lurking about. But highly modded rx8's are hard to come by.

I think he doesn't care what they have to race the RX-8 against.

Even at 58k on Ebay, they couldn't sell the car. Wonder if it really is as fast as they claimed... thought it was suppose to go against a Porsche 911 Turbo.

Lol , I would race against that viper if I had a 900 + HP car .. but I don't , and I highly doubt I can keep up with a stock 350Z in a drag race. Wanna film me racing against a honda civic ? lmao , I'll do that :D

 

Do it on Ocean Parkway (about 10 miles of straight road)... lol... from the wantagh to the meadowbrook. That would be a nice run. Or do it over that long *** bridge going to Captree State Park (probably get some good footage there. Let me know when you guys do this. ACOSTA... I'll tail you from Jersey.
