Thumbs up Mazda's at Limerock 2006

That’s right folks. The Nutmeg Miata club INC is holding the Mazda's at Limerock again this year. The date is May 29th. The event is sponsored by Mazda North America, and a few others that the details are being worked out. If you were there last year, it was a great time. The ticket cost for the event is not yet known. But as soon as we have that worked out i will let every one know. We are also trying to get the parade lap again... So save the date and I hope everyone can make it and come out to the event.

The details are this is a spectator event. There will be racing but done by the pro's. http://www.limerock.com/ Follow the link for the racing line up. The cost last year was $55.00 per person. What you get with that last year was, Air condition building, Lunch (BBQ), Soda all day. Flushing toilets, Private parking, Parade lap, Door prizes. Just to name a few off the top of my head. Also hear is a link for posting last year. https://www.rx8club.com/showthread.p...492#post882492 I hope I was able to answer your questions.

I definately want to go to that. I went to the ALMS race there last year and was involved in the corvette corral via my dad's vette. Was a ton of fun.

One question, are both the GT and ST classes having thier main events that day?

Well it is time to order your tickets or lime rock. Dew the raise in cost of the event, the ticket cost this year is $60.00 per person. Just $5.00 more per person over last year. We have the parade lap again this year. So get you checks in early to secure your place in the parade lap. Please make checks out to "Nutmeg Miata Club" and mail them too...

Nutmeg Miata Club
C/O Robert Chop
128 Howard Ave
Ansonia CT 06401

The tickets above are for the 29th of May at Limerock Park. With your ticket from the Nutmeg Miata Club you receive the following,
Private Parking,
Catered lunch
Door Prizes
Heated and Air condition Building
Private rest rooms, Flushable toilettes.
Premier viewing off the entire PRO racing action
Paddock Passes,
Parade Laps on the track.
You also get to meet some of the finest people in the Mazda world.
There is a limit to the parade lap. The first 100 tickets sold will be in the parade lap. The Check sent to the club will guarantee you in that parade lap. This is one of the BEST North East events around. No one leaves with out a smile on their face and looking forward to the next year event.

Tickets are moving FAST... So if you want to get in this is the time to send in your check. Remember the first 100 tickets (50 cars) get in the parade lap.

I don't understand. You have to buy *two* tickets per car?

You do not have to buy two tickets per car. Unless there are two people in the car. So if you come and you are by your self than it is 60.00. If you have a passenger than it is a extra 60.00. This is a party and a great time. And their is a per person cost.

Well just to sweeten the deal with our ticket price. We will be giving out 100 t-shirts to the first 100 people at the door with our ticket. These are special t-shirts being made. They are being made by P1 racing, they have a Pro MX5 cup car and the t-shirts will have there logo, there sponsors’ logo and our logo too. Now with those t-shirts we will be raffling off a passenger seat in that Pro MX 5 cup car for the parade lap. That’s right you might be the lucky one to sit inside the race car for the parade lap. So let’s order those tickets....

I'm going and would like to caravan, just don't know how early I can get out of Boston. The earliest is probably 8:30am. What time are you guys thinking about leaving Western MA?
