Mazda service center Eastern Mass.

Looking for the best service center in eastern mass for the 8. Major hesitation around 4k rpm's just bought the car so I have no records. Only thing I did was change the oil so far. Hesitation just started 2 days ago.

Thanks
Anthony

Change your spark plugs, coils and wires. Your car may just need some TLC.

Oh, and don't forget to redline it once a day while driving it like you stole it.

O'Hara Mazda in Fairhaven have been very good to me. I typically bring them a copy of the TSB and have not had an argument. And I'm typically pretty cynical of dealerships.

Definitely O'hara mazda in fairhaven, by a long shot. When I had a blown engine, I had it towed there and they had a brand new 300M rental for me to take for about a month...when I got it back there was a check engine light on, so they brought it back in the garage and changed the starter for me for free while I waited.

I can't go dumping $$$ in this thing yet. I only have 8 days left on the dealer warranty and that is free. No matter what the problem(except for clutch) I am not going to pay for anything that is faulty or needs replacing for the car to run properly for 30 days they are responsible. But if it needs a new engine I'll let the dealer and Mazda fight overt service records not me. That's why I need to get this, if not resolved, then atleast addressed before the 30 days from purchase date is up so it won't be my responsibility to provide service records. After next saturday it will be my problem.
Sounds like O'hara in Fairhaven is the one, that sucks there is a dealer 5 minutes away in quincy.

ive heard quincy is decent too...If i were you I would take it into a dealer who knows what they are doing, explain the situation, and have them diagnose what the issue is. That way youll be in the Mazda system as well, in case something happens down the road that the 100k warranty needs to cover. Have them print you out a diagnoses whether it be the coils are shot, spark plugs need to be changed, engine, etc, and tell them your going to take the diagnosis to where you got the car before the work is done, so they cover any costs that Mazda wont (simple tune up for example). There shouldnt be any charges involved as long as the dealership is going to get the work eventually..

You live around here, so if you cant make it to the dealer and you want to take a day ill help you check the plugs, coils, MAF sensor for buildup and all that good stuff and try and sort out whats causing the issue so they can fix it. Sometimes its basic things with this engine that will throw it way off.

+1 on O'hara. I've only had to go there once in the 2 years I've owned my car, but they took care of it.

I'm not 100% on this, but I do not think dealers will take responsability for general maint. items like spark plugs or coils unless the car won't run. I work in Quincy and have stopped by the Quincy Mazda. They are not that bad in there. I think I just threw out my old coils, they worked fine I just wanted to replace them. If I still have them, you can have them. I'll let you know.

JMC, thanks. Let me know if you have them it would help diagnose the problem. The dealer is responsible for everything except the clutch for 30 days and I can take the car anywhere I want for the service. It was an extra insurance policy that the used car dealer I bought it from gives to everyone, real stand up place. I'm going to take it to Quirk tomorrow and see what. They say, hopefully it gets squared away tomorrow. PM me if you find the coils, I would love to solve the problem with just that but either way I'm not responsible for anything.
