VA Mazda enthusiast meet Tidewater area
I ran into a fellow mazda6club member this past weekend and he invited me to a meet that they will be having Next saturday on the 17th, in the afternoon, not sure on the location yet but I believe it will be either at the NEX in Va Beach or Norfolk..I will post once I find out. A couple of Mazda 6s, a mazda 3, a Rx7, & Me & and another fella on this forum plan to be there. I encourage all you rotary heads in the 757 to come out!!! I want to meet you all, I myself am new to this forum, just purchased my rx8 last november & been meaing to link up with some local members...
Oh yeah and Who the hecht is that I always spot on 64 East bound heading towards Greenbrier pkwy in the evenings driving a WB rx8 w/MS bodykit!!!

at first i thought you were talking about another meet. i'm a member of a local rotary car owners meetup club and there's a meet that night at American Indoor Karting which i will be going to. There's mostly going to be RX7's there.

Alright, I'm on the mazda6club forums everyday and I've come to realize that their are quite of few MAZDA owners here in VA. Sad fact is, no members are actively meeting in groups so I have finally stepped up.
We'll be meeting next Saturday @ 1200. 12:00pm. @ the Navy Exchange on Tomcat blvd. I'm not sure of the exact address, but I work on base about 200 yards away on the same street and my address is: 1550 Tomcat blvd suite 150

3 or 4 M6s'
3 or more M3s'
A RX-7 (if he gets his turbo in)
A RX-8 (Derex'8)
The list is growing and I'll update as it goes. I hope a few of you guys can make it out.

i might show up to this one as well. its really too cold out for a parking lot type of meet.
there's another meet for rotary cars at 6pm at AIK in Portsmouth. for those of you that don't know AIK is an indoor go-kart track.
i will definitely be at the AIK meetup. it will mainly include RX-7's and a couple RX-8's. last month there was a guy with an old school RX-3.

Alright, fellas... The meet in Portsmouth sounds cool and I'd be down for a lil' in-door go kart ridin' if I were invited... Do you think we mazda6club members could come thru??? If, yes... What's the exact address? If, no, then that's cool...

To bad, but damn sure this is not the last so check regularly, Yeah I'll definately be out there though next sat, sorry haven't been able to get in touch w/ya had drill this weekend...

i'm sure nobody will mind if you come out with a 6 or any other mazda. everyone seems pretty chill. last meet we had in January there was an old school corolla and an RX-3.
so far only 6 people from the group said they are going and 6 maybe's.

oh yeah and i'd like more info on the tinted tails too and possibly tinted headlights.

I'll prolly come thru AIK and I'll try to get Derex'8 to roll with me...
Bout' the tinted tail/ headlights... Well, I got that off the mazda6club.com site and you can check it out on the mazda6tech.com site. It's for our oem parts, though... Send me your email and I give you a few pix of my set-up...

Whats good All...I hope it to be a nice turn out this Sat..looks to be sunny with a high of 46, guess thats not to bad...rlly cant wait till it starts warming up...Hey will... just got my Tanabe springs & Tokico shocks in & goin to hobby shop this friday to install them, give me a call if wanna link up...Wheels came in to but have no cash for tires

sorry guys i won't be able to make it to the Va Beach meet, but i will be at AIK tonight around 6pm. i'm changing my water pump and thermostat on my 240 which is what i'll be driving. its looking like i won't be able to legally drive my 8 until mid-April.
