Hey Howard - 2.30 I believe, theres some info on the site with links to the 7 guys thread. They are going back and forth with location now, but I think they are sticking with FDR in Phila. I'll be there for a few hours probably...you will have a shorter commute this time!

Its time for me to start asking for actual RSVP's here. I need a number of 8 drivers and guests who will be riding along for this little shindig. Please start letting me know if you will be attending. You can PM me or just respond in this thread (method I prefer). Thanks in advance for giving us a little notice, I am supposed to report #'s to the 7 guys. Howard, hope you can make it, even if for only a little bit.
BTW, if you don't respond you can still show up, it just helps us organize a bit and is appreciated.

 

So what time are you guys going to leave Yardley? We are starting the caravan in Lawrenceville and taking 95/295 over to you guys then down to Philly. Just need to know what time we are getting this all started.

Count me in. I will be coming in from Westchester County in NY so it will be a bit of a hike. But hey, I figure more seat time in my 8. Be nice to meet you guys.

BTW is there anyone else coming from NY, if so, do you want to meet up somewhere (around George Washington Bridge) and ride down together? Let me know.

Ok, looks like the primary locations for caravans that are north of Philly are the Yardley and Lawrenceville locations. If your interested in the Lawrenceville location, we are leaving Lawrence High School at 1:00pm and we will be over to the Yardley location to meet up with you rx8 guys who are meeting there already. Then from there i'm guessing we are all taking 95 down to Philly. Irish, are you leading up the rx-8/yardley caravan meeting? If so, maybe we could swap cell phone numbers so we can call up each other if anything is changing?

I think I am going to be there. Actually, if you let me come along even if I don't have my car out of the body shop and have to drive the stupid SUV then I will say I am defintely attending...

If you cant bring your car and your bringing the SUV, maybe you could bring the grill everyone has been looking for?

 

I only have a charcoal grill - but if you find someone nearby (Delaware or Westchester for instance) that has a gas grill and AND I take the SUV I would be glad to help. (but I really hope to be driving the 8 and will be really bummed, grill or no grill, to be driving the SUV)

 

I am planning on attending with my other half. The Lawrenceville HS location sounds like a great place to meet at 1:00 PM assuming I can find it. I used to work on Lenox Drive in Lawrenceville so it shouldn't be too hard to find. I trust the 7's won't mind an 8 tagging along for the caravan.

 

No problem at all, as long as you can find the road, you can find the high school, its not hidden at all. If you need some good directions, or if you want my cell # in case you get lost, send me a PM. Is Lenox Drive the one thats off of Princeton Pike? They used to have street racing set up there, lol. Anyways, if its the place i'm thinking of, just keep going down princeton pike and eventually you'll run into the high school.

 

Sue, of course we would love for you to attend regardless of whether your 8 has been returned to you. I would be mad as well. I remember the times my cars have been in for paint or body work--sooo frustrating. So I can relate.

 

Damn it...I was so looking forward to meeting you guys down there. Unfortunately I just found out from the other/better half I have a charity event to attend in Manhattan that evening. It will have to wait til next time for me. oh well.

Yeah, I know I am pretty bummed. I was trying to get all my mods done for you guys to check out and now I can't go. Definitely next time.

 

Senseny I will be there and I might bring a friend (he love Rx-7's). Leave me a message if we are having BBQ, I'll bring some supplies. Buns, hot dogs, I can get the buns part for cheap from were I work, just let me know how many you want. TPNova 1 that would be fine just let me know where you want to meet. See all of you there.

I'll be driving down to Senseny's place before hand to caravan down with him. Wayne, I'll be bringing some sketchy plans for that spoiler too, I've made a couple decisions on how I want it to look, and soon enough I'm just gonna go for it and then put pics up. Anyway, I'll be looking forward to meeting all of you guys and seeing all those 7s and 8s.
