I'd be interested in a SCCA clinic in my RX-8.

Sorry for the typo, its SCDA. Regardless, a list of events for the New England Region can be found here. A couple events even have a discount if you drive a Mazda! : https://scda1.com/wp-content/uploads...-SCHEDULE-.pdf

I'm a brand new owner of an rx-8 as of this week! Would definitely be interested in doing a drive or meetup sometime, I'm in NH.

I usually take the RX-8 out of winter storage the last weekend in March/first in April so I'm counting down the days.

R3 is coming out of storage this weekend. Hope to take a drive on Sunday on one of my favorite routes: Rt. 62 from Clinton to Stone Cow Brewery in Barre (Rt 122). I then head up 122 to Rt 32 in Petersham, then Rt 101 to Rt 2 and back home.. Some good sections to open it up a bit and if you go early in the morning there is almost no traffic.

Geez, We're basically neighbors. I'd invite myself to join you but I just brought the 8 to my brothers so we can put some new parts onto her. The weather looks perfect on Sunday for a cruise. Have fun!

That looks like a great ride - though GMaps says part of MA-62 is out with a detour to Hubbardston:

I forgot forgot they closed a bridge for repairs last fall. Obviously not repaired yet. The detour is pretty minor.

I hope you had a great ride - I didn't make it out there - too many outdoor projects today.

I did. Thanks. Hardly any traffic and did some fun back road runs with a Cadillac ATS-V coup. I also passed a silver RX-8 on a trailer that looked like it was on its way to a new home.

Question for you guys, do you know any mechanics in the area that are comfortable working on RX8s, or do you do the service on your own?

Also, I was thinking of doing a drive on the Kancamagus highway or some other roads in the White Mountains some time soon.
