Sucks I had to miss it, especially since Famous Ray was working. I'm glad you guys had such awesome weather!

Great meet everyone, met a few new faces this time around. Enjoyed oggling at Ray's goodies and hearing about how he does work. Having the shop was nice, thanks again WarCrunk for the food, drink, and use of your place!

Shame I didn't talk to the 6 guys much - wanted to check out the MS6 but at the time the GF was in a huff (for some reason she thought it would be more like the castle island meet even though I explained it to her beforehand...) - then they left~

It was worth it for me, even if I hadn't brought all that stuff. Getting to spend time with you guys is what matters. I didn't really do any work as everyone had their own stuff under control and Oleg was working HIS *** off. I figured, "Why interrupt him?"

 

^knowing when to delegate is a key part of running a successful business!

 

Oleg seems to live for working on 8's... its either his or a friends he's always bustin his ***** on it... except when it comes time for a beer break

 

So I came back to the shop and bitched about the springs. They must have felt like idiots--and they should. Anyway, the car's all fixed now. The handling is just like night and day. I'm just glad I came to the meet yesterday.

Thanks to WarCrunk and Clavius for organizing the meet. And thanks to WarCrunk's dad for allowing us to use his lifts, equipment, etc.

Ray seemed like a cool guy, if a little intimidating--kinda like Bruce Willis' twin...LOL. That's why I didn't wanna come too close...hahah.

 

lol Dude I felt the same. Cause I saw an older pic of him and I didn't expect a Bruce Willis Clone that was ready to pwn everything by looking at it.

Oleg (Astral), thanks for all your help! I can definitely feel a difference when shifting and I don't hear as much grinding any more from the rear.

 

maybe in the future you should leave one corner unbuttoned to reduce the intimidation factor.

Just want to say thanks to Sean and his family for putting that all together this weekend. I had a great time and just wish I had spent some money on things to get installed before the meet.
Thanks for letting the 6s crash the meet. There were rumors floating around that this could be an annual event, here's to hoping their true.

Hey, i too am from 6club, and i really appreciate you guys throwing this whole thing together. Granted, i didnt have my car there, but i did get to help other people with their cars. I can't wait for next year, when i will hopefully have the speed6 in Boston. Also, it was really cool meeting the RX-8 guys, and its great to know where there is a good shop if i ever need one.

 

Hell yeah, well thanks for comin dude. The 6 guys were all really cool, I was glad to meet them. I'll admit at first I was a bit intiminated, guys looking all cool, rolling up all together..lol..but you guys were the bomb. We should hold a Mazda meet again some time.

 

i gotta say that all you guys suck...HA im just kidding, We all enjoyed having all of you my pops was satisfied with the way things went, 6 guys are the ****, Anytime you guys need somthing done, Go to the shop my pops and i are there, Sweett good ****.
