The loss of a fellow rotorhead...

http://www.newstimes.com/policerepor...sh-1610726.php

Michael Mitchell, known as OtakuRX over here and on the RX7club was one of my best friends. This is a tragedy in itself and words cant begin to describe how i feel, i have never lost a friend before.

He was an outstanding guy, a true gentleman in todays world. He was a hardcore rotorhead, 83RX7 and an 04 sunlight silver RX8. His rx7 was on a couple year hiatus while he collected the parts to piece her back together. Just a couple months ago he got her all situated, legal, and on the road.
I would not trade those couple backroad adventures for anything else in the world.

RIP Michael Mitchell

Sorry to hear about your loss. My prayers are with his family. Do they know what happened?

Thanks, they do not know what has happened yet. I stopped by his house one last time and his RX8 and RX7 were in the driveway...he was driving his wrangler.

Well keep your head up man, I know it is tough, I lost my childhood best friend last year and it just takes time to come to grips with it.

Losing a friend is hard. Buy his old 7 off the family, this could help.
I did a similar thing with a friend that passed. Bought his snowmobile, and I don't hate rebuilding it all the time.
Stay strong.
