Looking for Good Tuner Shop or Rotary Mechanic

MY 7 year old TI Grey GT is going in for some minor body work after which I want to re-dress the car with new bumpers, front lip spoiler, rear fender flares, whole car detailed in and out. Engine wise I'm not looking to do anything super, but would like to have it gone over by someone who really knows rotors and can make it purr like a kitten and whine when it needs to. I'm considering possibly upgrading the stock suspension if someone can make a good case for it. Right now I'm using ceramic brake pads which are great, no dust and they stop like crazy. Only engine upgrade is a K&N cold air intake. Cat Con is brand new ( replaced 6 months ago) New Rims and Rubber all around. But I would really like to hook up with a good tuner/mechanic in Queens, Manhattan or Brooklyn who really knows these cars and can help me personalize it and turn it into something really special. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. I'm in Astoria. Car is a weekend driver with only 31K on it 2005 and I plan on keeping for many more years to come. Thanks in advance!

Tuner shops here in Queens are a dime a dozen. If your looking for aesthetic body work and a basic tune up, any shop with a good rep will suffice. If your looking for strictly Rotary shops you'll probably have to take a drive out of NYC (LI,NJ,PA).

Thanks for the tips. I was thinking as such but I hate bringing it in to the dealer to be honest Im not concerned with work quality but I don't trust them to not overcharge me and they tend to often recommend things that I don't really think are necessary except to raise the bill. Thanks again.
