ok guys so get this...i just get my accessport today...and i do all the necessary things to set it up and all that...it says to plug the accessport in and all of a sudden as the accessport is transferign files it freezes on the last step..at first i i thought it it was supposed to take that long to transfer so i let it be for liek 20 minutes and still on the last step..so i cancel everything and try to do it all over again but now everytime i plug the accessport in it gets stuck on the "update screen" and my computer wont recognize it...do any of you guys know what i should...if someone can help me out it would be greatly appreciated..thank you

can you uninstall it?

 

i am able to uninstall the updater and also the manager

 

i am able to install and uninstall the programs...its jsut that everytime i plug my accessport in it jsut goes right to the updating screen and wont come off...and when i try to update it it says couldnt find device

 

can you completely uninstall the cobb from your car? that way you can start over.

where'd you get the cobb from?

 

the cobb was never installed into my car...i put it into my computer first and then this happend...i got it from mazda maniac

 

if you got it from mm, you shouldn't have to download any maps.. it should come preinstalled. all you had to do was plug it into your car and install it

 

thats exactly what i thought...but when i put it into my car it said no maps found so that why i thought you had to put it into your computer...damn im probably screwed..cuz the cobb is jsut stuck on the update screen on everthing i do..idk what to do

No MM can take care of anything like that.
Also, don't worry about your car being messed up because it froze, MM has tested it and it has built in safety mechanisms to make sure the car still has working files even in the case of a freeze or accidental unplug

I just got my rx8 about a month ago, and saw you guys have meets every so often. I'm lookin for one in Suffolk, preferably by Port Jefferson or Riverhead? I'm willing to travel though. Just wanna show off my car =) Any local meets?

 

There is one on wednesday nights at dave and busters in islandia. There is also a meet in queens thursday nights.

Btw, who is going to the meet tomorrow night? I have withdrawals from not going the last couple of weeks.

If I was you I would go to the queens meet it's well worth the drive it could be from 5 to 33cars... Islandia no one showed up anymore well the the times I went..there was like 7 cars
