Long Island, NY - Great Neck Mazda

I'm talking to a guy at Great Neck Mazda about leasing an RX-8. At this point it looks like this might really happen.

Does anybody want to warn me off from doing business with this dealership? Anybody with a specific bad personal experience there?

Thanks,

Lee

Great dealership, ask for Howard Massbach, he is the parts manager, tell him that Brian Farmingdale sent you to that dealership, don't know if it will get you a deal, but it's worth a shot. I go there for all of my parts, and service, even though I bought the car at Wantagh Mazda. Howie is a great guy and so is the dealership. Good luck with the new car when you get it.

Hey I just got off the phone with Howard Massbach at Great Neck auto, he said to send you in to him and he would introduce you to a sales rep or reintroduce you to a sales rep so they will give you a good deal. You can find Howie in the parts department in the back of the dealership. He's good people, wish I bought my 8 from them. Just mention my name when you see him so he knows who you are. (Brian)

Good luck with everything!

If you don't mind telling, I'd be interested to see if you can get a deal on an '04 model now that the '05s are starting to roll in. I really want to get this car, but currently, I'm a little short on cash. Any sort of information on discounts will help me tons. Thanks.

I don't know if they are offering anything because it's the end of the year. I don't work there, but if you like just take the advice I gave Ellar above and speak with Howie. My suggestion would be to shop at another Mazda dealer so you can get a jist of how much other dealerships are asking for the 8. Then go into Great Neck Mazda so you have an idea of what deal they will give you.

Go down to Great Neck Mazda and just talk to them or call Howie in parts (516) 829-6020, because I know your in Queens, so at least you don't waste your travel time.

That's the one across from Luger's right? I live in Bayside, that Mazda dealer is about 10 minutes from me by car.

Thanks for the info. I really appreciate it. Now, I just gotta wait another month or so. I still need another paycheck or two. :D
