This is definitely going to happen. Dates have been secured with Jeff (Mazdamaniac) and the shop, Speed1 (formerly KD Rotary Performance) of Allentown / Kutztown, PA.
Tuning and dyno session with Mazdamaniac at KDR Performance outside of Kutztown, PA on 10/23.

Here are the details:

Full day - From early morning thru the evening -- The shop has requested we have our last session started no later than 8:30PM -- They normally only run till to 2PM on a Saturday.

Tuning + Dyno for the first 5 slots (assumes you already have an AccessPort and MM service)
$250

If you need an AccessPort, Mazdamaniac can accommodate your request. The AccessPORT is $594 delivered to the event (including the MMCCS) for whoever needs one. You will need to work out MMCCS alone separately if you are not already a subscriber. Let me know if you want an AP and I'll pass along the request to Jeff. If you need to subscribe to his calibration service, here's a link to his site: http://www.mazdamaniac.com/cobb/accessport.htm. If you have an AP and are not an MMCCS subscriber then there will be no support for your tune beyond the day's tuning efforts.

Deposit for MM tuning services has been secured. All slots are on a first come first serve basis and I would like to have full payment from everyone no later than 10/1. If by 10/1 you have not paid in full your reservation will go to the next in line until all 5 slots are filled.

All payments are non-refundable and final. Please send me a PM if you're interested and I'll respond with a PayPal address and total amount due (I will be adding 4% to cover fees). If after payment you cannot make it, it is your responsibility to fill your spot. I do not care by what means this happens but do ask you work down the waiting list (assuming one exists).

If for some reason we cannot secure 5 paid slots, the amount due per participant will be calculated based on actual amount owed to the shop and tuner. I can tell you given my discussions today there is very little profit to be had in this from both the tuner and the shop... and certainly none at all for me. If by some freak of nature we go over that money will go to the shop and/or a snack/beer fund.

Hm... I am definitely getting my GT3071R kit installed at KDR but I would be very interested in having MM tune it given the vast amount of experience he has and since it's his kit after all. I would have to work out the logistics with Dave to see if this is possible since I'd have to have the kit installed in conjunction with this event (takes about 4 hours for me to get out there).

 

Car is at the dealership now. Do not know when Kevin is going to be look at it. If my car gets fixed count me in

Yeah I think that's Frank. He's does the phones, appointments, and i think some marketing. Dave's trying to get shirts and hats and stuff for his loyal customers.



He should be able to, plus he's quick with installs.

If I don't currently have the MM Calibration Service will the cost be the full $300 or will there be a discount like the previous dyno day on 8/28 in NJ?

My SSV was baked with carbon,getting it replaced. MM would i need a new tune or will the one i have still work?
