Last year we all parked in a swampy lawn next to the racetrack but when I went over to check out the track the parking lot was empty except for a couple of ratty local race cars. The old bag in the booth made me pay twice when I went back to race my 7. She told me if I did'nt like it to leave. It was total BS! Whoever is setting this event up needs to say something to the owners of the track. We need to have the event in the parking lot and have full use of the track. WE brought a lot of people and money to the track and did'nt deserve to be treated like crap! The track would have had 20 cars there at the most if our event was not there. When I went through tech -in the idiot gave me a hard time about my $400.00 bike helmet which I've used at Etown an atco countless times.
Overall I still enjoyed the day, I only have one more suggestion. They should collect $ for a pot for the race winners. The Throphy was nice but a throphy and some cash would be nicer.

ok this should be pm'd to me but while it would be nice if all of this happened. NO OTHER TRACK WILL LET US HAVE ROTORFEST THERE! fact of the matter, island is doing us a favor and we should be very greatful! there is nothing wrong with parking cars on the grass, the problem was last time it rained the days before so it got muddy, the only person to blame for that is god. if anyone has a problem please let me know. last year we had one SINGLE incident with some one i know deciding to get in a big argument with the track owner over something very dumb. does anyone know where that gets us ? nowhere, again sorry to vent but you guys think tracks are lined waiting to just bend over backwards for US ? its a two way street!

just be thankful we have such a thing as Rotorfest on the east coast
its huge step for rotary cars plus it brings us all closer.

We will put together a nice ride down there this year. so everyone prepare for a good time and bring some sun tan lotion I dont think we have a tent for this year like last year.

Please do, nothing looks cooler than seeing an entire fleet of rotary powered vehicles storming down the highway. Its really awesome. I went bone stock last year, down to the rims, and even this year my only mod is an exhaust so it doesnt really matter how far along your ride is. Come out, enjoy the ride, take some sweet pics, and enjoy being part of something special. Just a couple pics from last year to get everyone feeling nostalgic...
