I'm looking for some parts off a series one. Depending on location I can come pick them up, or pay for shipping if you are willing to ship the items. Below is the list of what I'm looking for.

-shift ****
-fog lights
-undertray
-front lip
-battery
-left exhaust shroud

If you have suggestions for places to buy them online, or aftermarket alternatives please let me know. Unfortunately the scrap yards near me only have 8s that have already been stripped of this stuff.

Looking at your list the front lip and undertray will be the hardest to find.

For whatever reason everyone destroys these two parts and typically the same accident takes them both. There are Aluminum options that can be cheaper than the OE for the undertray. I have an LRBspeed for example. I don’t necessarily recommend it. But it could be your cup of tea and it is stronger.

Is the “lip” the GT’s front lip spoiler? Or the strip that sits under the front bumper with a Rotary triangle in it? The later can be found on ebay.

Fogs pop up on here all the time, check the for sale forum.

Shift ***** also pop up.

Exhaust shroud will really just need some calling around. Are there any pull yourself places near you?

 

I've gone to several scrap yards near me. All of the RX8's have been stripped in the front and inside. I might go back and grab an exhaust shroud, was just waiting to see if someone here had multiple things I needed. Would prefer to buy from someone in the community than a scrap yard.

The previous owner went off the road and destroyed the undertray, oil pain, fender liners, and the front trim piece. The triangle & trim it is attached to is missing. What should I search for on ebay? I see the front 'lip' listed as a lip, front spoiler, and other names so it's hard to find the exact piece with the triangle.

 

Check Craigslist for the cheapest RX-8s for sale. You can sometimes find one that has the parts you are looking and the owner will often sell off parts if the prices are right. Of course if the price is right you could just buy the car and part out what you do not need.

 

Ha! I talk it up and here I am trying to find it myself. I know I have seen tons of listings before, granted they are probably China remakes. Must have banned a bunch of sellers.

i would search under “rx8 oem lip” add “front” or “spoiler” as needed. You can also use “valance” or “air dam”. Should give you some results.

 

I was able to find a front lip, fog lights, undertray, and shift **** locally. Unfortunately I already bought the cheapest 8 in the area (it's the one I'm fixing) so a parts car wasn't possible.

All I need now is the left exhaust shroud, right side marker, battery tray and fender liners.
