Interested in helping detail my car...??
I have a BB (as you can probably can tell below)
Ive been polishing my
off and after a week i see the swirl marks and chips and all the imperfections...even thought the car is squeeky clean, it looks dirty because of the imperfections - it wasn't this hard before...So, I think if i can fix the chips and some of the more prominent scratches, I'll be able to keep up with it better.
I live in South Jersey (08065). Let me know if you're interested in a few beers and BBQ...It would be nice to learn a few things, hang out with fellow 8 owners and shoot the #@*#.
Anyone out there know what they're doing? I just wash and slather on a bunch of products. I don't really know what i'm doing. I'm guessing it looks good by default...throw enough wax on something and it'll shine...lol

I'd like to, but South Jersey is pretty far :P.. and I don't have so much free time anymore..
rcpilot, how about putting up some pics? Also what products are you using now? How frequently is the car washed (and do you do it all yourself?), detailed?; what towels, brushes, etc. do you use?

08065?? 08065?!??! I live in 08065!!! lol And just tonight I was talking about detailing my 8 with JAQ61 and his shinka, so we should have a get together and do it! I don't think I have a free Saturday 'til Aug. 8 though but maybe we could find a Sunday. And JAQ has all the best stuff and tons of experience, etc., so everything would get done right. Let me know if you want to try to figure out a date :

Let me know guys we can have a nice get together with some good food, music & some clean *** cars.

08065 is Palmyra, right on the river across from Philly. No free weekends until at least Aug. 22, though, too crazybusy!

One really quick off topic question. I'm Looking to get exhaust and CAI - I need brand suggestions, for a good sound (not a chainsaw on crack) and HP. I've been scouring the forum but everyone has different opinions.

No way, a yellow too???? Daaaaaaam, I had no idea there were so many. There used to be a stormy blue near me but I haven't seen it in a long time. I see the one in the harbor all the time.
