They had a fantastic butternut squash risotto around this time 2 years ago... if they have it on the menu I highly recomend it.

 

Just bought a Whitewater Pearl MT '05.. If you see one driving around the Jersey Shore area, that's me :-D

I'm very impress that there are so many ppl driving their 8 in the Winter
It's 30 degress outside and for the past week there's some snow on the ground in the part of Jersey i live in
Plus i live in the hilly area so when there's a bit of snow or even a ton of leaves on the road its not fun at all to be in the 8
I just had my 8 in the garage for the past week
Wish the temp outside would get a bit warmer
Want to wash the car i been dirty for weeks now

 

Dude are you kidding me? The 8 is the most fun car to drive in the winter! As soon as it snows I go hit up the deserted parking lots for some sideways action I had a Civic before this and that was no fun.. The 8 is so utterly controllable it's amazing fun...

The "dirty" part does suck.. Way too cold out to hand wash the car... I guess give me a couple more weeks of this and I'll have to man up and just do it

 

Wash it tomorrow! I know I will.. 40+ deg temps are not bad

Saw a shinka with exhausts this morning on GSP south heading past exit 154

 

Drove alongside a ti gray rx-8 in my white 8 on the turnpike for about 5 minutes, until he turned off onto rt 18. Tough to concentrate on the road when you're both exchanging looks at such awesome cars :-p

 

Red 8 signing up for Rec department ski club in montgomery township today. unfortunately mines in the shop after a spin on the ice.

 

Followed a dark grey RX-8 (same color as mine) with xenons from Parkway exit 163 to 153. Looked like a girl, couldn't really tell as it was really dark and grey out at the time (around 7:30 a.m.).

 

parked next to a 8 @ fox and hound @ menlo around 9:30-10pm Ti grey, spoiler, accent (same as mine) then saw another one @ skylark around 12-1ish it was black.

 

Left an RX-8 Club calling card on a Shinka with NJ tags in the pkg lot of Cracker Barrel up at Tpk Exit 5 this morning (Sat). Then I passed a Vred who was NB on 295, Cherry Hill area, when I was SB about 11:00. I waved but not sure if I got a wave back.

 

passed a white 8 parked two blocks off rt1 in lawrenceville.

 

Saw 2 guys looking over my car at Target in Wash. Twp. & then they went to their car-a TiGray 8. They took off before I got a chance to talk to them (or maybe they were running from me, or the 8 was stolen, who knows?). I just yelled over, "Nice car!" before they hightailed it outta there.

 

saw my personal record 3 other 8's yesterday, december 17. passed a sunlight silver going 202 south, flicked my lights. a brilliant black license plate SHB --- was parked in the bloomingdales lot of the bridgewater mall. and on the way home a ti-gray passed me, flicked my lights and may have accidentally blinded him

 

ive been here since friday n havent seen my first 8

 

They're probably all in hibernation.
