I liked the RX8 for it's looks...

I liked the RX-8 for it's looks and the fact it's a rotary engine (I don't care for the sounds of V6/8s).

I fell inlove with the car when I was sitting in one. Just not sure if that place was a good place to ride from.

I was in Pittsburgh (drove for 3 hours) for an interview, and I took route 30 (to 219) and I seen a big blue sign saying MAZDA. I was so excited I slamed on the gas and turn on the other lane, breaking like a manic just to see the RX8 in close and pick the dealer's mind.

Questions for owners:
1. Where did you get your RX8? Do you like the dealership?
2. Does the RX8 have an ECU?
3. I didn't think the RX8 had a turbo, yet the dealer said it does.
4. I thought the RX8 was also a FMR, rear drive... not a forward drive like I was told.
5. Where exactly do you get your daily redline if you live in the city?
6. Do you drive the your RX8 all year long?
7. Is Hamilton a good dealership?

I think the guy was describing another car. Probably the Mazdaspeed3, FWD and has a turbo.

Like Jeff said he must have been talking about a 3.

Most sales people know nothing. Never go to them for information, just go to google and you'll know more then any sales person well within half an hour.

2. Yes
3. No turbo
4. Rear drive and the balance is around 51/49
5. You don't HAVE to daily redline. It doesn't hurt though and its fun.
6. Yes, snow or rain.

You should talk to that salesman and get some more answers out of him...How many cylinders does it have?.....Were the Z rated tires originally intended for a 350Z?.....Will Velocity Red make me go faster?

She knew it was a rotary engine, she even knew that you're not supposed to rev a cold rotary engine. Why she shouldn't, she didn't really know. But she do

It's a mazda dealership on route 30... west of pittsburgh. I was wondering if any rx8 owners had opinions of that dealership.

---'s the site of the dealership

Edit: Found enough posts and came up with my decision. Thank yas

Search this sub-forum and then the whole forum to see if anyone has used them. Then google them. Then check BBB.com.
