I've not been around here in many MANY moons, but just dropping a quick cheap plug for my garage gym that I'm trying to start expanding. I still have my yellow 8 if anyone wants to see what a 8 looks like that just sits there all the time =( But my gym is free and open to the public, about 1 mile from Mt. Trashmore - Would love to have some 8 owners come out and get their sweat on!!!

 

Anyone in Hampton Roads area I could ask for some help. I need help installing my coilovers. or do you know any shop here in VA could do it for a cheaper price. I'm residing in Hampton. I'm in NN and I can give you a hand but my schedule is pretty crazy. I have a set of coilovers I bought months ago and haven't had time to install. Plus other miscellaneous things going on with my Ocho. I can definitely steer you in the right direction though. Pm me your number. Also, anyone in the area know a reputable Cobb tuner?

Well being the military, I've been here in Hampton Roads for almost 12 years. Just bought my RX8 last year and I absolutely love everything about it. I ended up getting rid of my 2008 Dodge Charger R/T Daytona (HemiOrange). And I have no regrets! Although if you are interested in getting yourself an 8, please start reading up on the maintenance aspect of it and also how to care for it as far as driving it, shifting points ... but like most people on here will tell you, just have fun with it, drive it like you stole it, and become knowledgeable about it. When in doubt ... refer to the forum! Soooooo .... about this Meet! Who's heading it and when!?!

No one needs to lead really. We just need to come up with a time and place. I attend a local car meet on Saturday nights occasionally. if you guys would be interested in attending that as a group that would be cool. or if yall would like just strictly an rx8 meet that can be set up for whenever. I can think of a spot or two that would be a nice meeting area. Whatever everyone wants!

nah i say keeping it on the thread is good. keeps people aware instead of just a select group. So what the hell, lets get it started. Anyone up for a Saturday night cruise to local meet? Oooooor maybe a Sunday evening meet with just us rx8s? I'm just pissing in the wind here idk anyone's schedule haha. Weekends? Weekdays? Whats everyone's best time? Location shouldn't be too hard. I can think of plenty of parking lots and maybe a parking garage or two with plenty of room. Unless you guys want to be fancy and go somewhere with some scenery.

Saturdays weather is supposed to be pretty good. I say we shoot for Saturday somewhere in the VA Beach area. I'm in Norfolk. Time is going to be the hard part ... a.m / p/m? ... I say keep it in the thread as well.
