Well went ahead & started a new thread for a more appropraite title

I will be posting here on details about the all mazda meet we regularly have and if any other members know of/or want to start local meets please post as well...

For all that don't know this is pretty much a meetup for all mazdas(rx8, rx7, mazda6, mazda3, etc...) modified or un modified....it dosent really matter...just a bunch of us linking up having a good time and talking cars.

The next meet is this weekend on the 17th @ noon. They will be having a BBQ in Portsmouth. At park

I will get Luv5m6 to post more details here & exact location.

I myself won't be able to make it out because of drill but do encourage others to go out...

 

i won't be able to make it to the BBQ, but i will be at AIK with my 240.

 

I will not be able to make it to the barbeque because I am on the other side of the world. Look for me later this year though!!!

(btw - we need more hampton roads peeps @ the dragon this year, start looking into it!!!)

 

I won't be able to make it as well. Myself and vIce gRip are working on getting something together for April which would include an appearance from the Dent Wizard to remove door dings if we can gather enough interest. If you would be interested, let me know.

Cool I would definately be interestesd jskup1...I have like a quarter size dent in passenger door...but uhhm BBQ is in portsmouth by the way not Newport News...and is at the park....Orders haven't gone though yet so don't have to show up for drill ::HOOAH:: ...so I'll probably be out there but late...

Bout to go detail my car for AIK meet this evening...Yeah I hear ya Marvin Rock. I was over there from (OCT 05 - OCT 06) but stayed in kuwait...Stay up but keep your head down bruh & get back here safely..

That's pretty much set in stone as I am already speaking with technicians.

 

Shoot, I'm flying back in from London that day. I don't know that I'll be up to a meet, but we'll see. I don't need any dings fixed, but I would love to see the guy do one. It's like magic.

 

San Fransisco just the other day, now London, what the hell Pat? Trying out for international man of mystery? I think that spot is filled.

 

And Kansas City on Tuesday. Not exotic, but I'm looking forward to some good steaks again.

I'm at Laserquest for my son's B-Day tomorrow. I hope nobody gets their hopes up when they see a yellow 8 in the parking lot. They'll be really disappointed. The 10 year olds are going to kick my butt.

 

Man, that sucks. I wanted to be able to make it to the next meet up but i'll be in Kansas that weekend. Its seems a lot of people wont be around that weekend though. Are you sure it's not too late to push it a week forward or back? If not I hope to see you guys next time!

Thank you Derex'8! I live in VA Beach not far from the Town Center. I bought my 8 in December and it had quite a few customizations done to it already. 18" Chrome Rims, Tinted windows, 2x10" subs, factory spoiler and Nav system. I've never had so much fun driving a car!
I definitely want to to some meets and events! I'll have to check my schedule and let you know about the meet you posted. It looks like fun. The Tail of the Dragon thing looks really cool too. Is anyone planning on doing that?

Hey marvin how far of a drive is that from virginia?

 

You'll have to ask Dan, I came in from NC last time, somewhere in the area of 8 hours, maybe shorter though as I was farther east.

 

According to google maps its about 9 hours!

I want to say it was about 7 hours to the ocean front from the dragon. Cannot hold me to it but we did do alot 80mph+ driving too...
