Hey folks,

I just got my RX-8.

I'm looking to do a quality clear bra installation. Does anyone in New England have clear bra, and if so, where did you get it from and was it a quality job?

If you know any good places, please let me know.

FYI, I just got the clear bra installed at Wheel Dynamix in Natick, and looks like they did a great job. I also got "wheel damage areas" done (four squares on rocker panels behind the wheels) and the "trunk ledge". I'll have to wait 1-3 weeks for everything to dry up (some rain coming up will slow down the drying), and then I'll post pics & more details.

Check out Tint King (www.tint-king.com). I got my window tint done there and they also do clear bras. I got my clear bra done by a Mazda Dealer (128) who contracted out to Autobahn. Very high quality job, can't even tell its there unless you are within a couple of feet of the car.

Heh, I actually did my tint for my previous car at Tint King due to your recommendation here early on in the forums. Then I ended up getting a job about a mile away from them.

The front was $800 (no appearance pkg). The rest was $150.

tint-king in billerica quoted $550 for the same full frontal kit that I paid $800 for, so you can try them. I wanted the best of the best, and I may have paid too much in the end, but this car is gonna last me at least 5 years, and I know I got the best.

also, it's not just the bumper. it's the front parts of the fenders, the 16" of the hood, the rear view mirrors, the headlights and the foglights. so you'd typically be looking at a new bumper and a new hood--at least that's what my old car needed after 90K miles.
