PA Event Idea - PA Dyno Day??!?

I want to organize a DynoDay for those of us in PA.

I found a place (local to me) in Lansdale, PA that does individual dyno pulls, half-days, and full days.

R/T Tuning

3 Runs w/ Wideband O2 $65
Half Day $340
Full Day $640

Now I want to know, who would be interested in participating!!

EDIT 2/1/09:
The Dyno Day will be in mid march. When I make the appointment, I will create the official thread. Now, If we get 10 people confirmed with a deposit, then it will be $64 a person. 12 ppl - $53, 14 ppl -$45. Get the idea?

I will have a paypal account where all of the deposits will go. Yet again, I will have all the info in the Official thread.

UPDATE 2-9

Event info here!!!

Alright so this is still a small group. If we can get 8-10 people, then I'll talk to the guy about getting a full dyno day.

Well i want to get at least 6-8 people who will go. Then I'll call them and schedule something like 3 weeks in advance that way more people can come.

And hopefully by then i'll have those MM maps.

I got a dumb question, but is the price you have per person, or is it being split by everyone that is going?

It is $65 for a single run of 3 pulls.

It may be cheaper if we get more then 10 people to come. That way it would be $640/(Number of People).

Like if we get 12 people to go, it would be $53 for each person, rather then $65.

Well, as soon as there is a date I can let you know. You probably should get everyone's number that is going if they wouldn't mind. That way you could probably give a two weeks notice just to make sure the people that say they're going are going, that way we don't get there expect 10/15 people and only 3/4 of us show. Plus this would give us an idea of how much to bring.

Exactly.

Not only that I want to get a month in advance. That way more ppl can show and get their cash situated.

I'm gonna wait until mid feb. If we get more support by then...i'll schedule if for mid march.

How does that sound?

That sounds pretty good to me. I also like the deposit also. Who would get the deposit, would it go to the shop and they hold onto it for that day, kinda pay in advance type deal?

I'd suggest getting a hold of Jedi, he just organized a great dyno day in so cal. You want to make sure you have deposits from everyone to cover the dyno run before booking the date. the deposits will incentivize people to show up and ensure that you don't end up eating a huge "all day" fee yourself.
