hey guys long time no be on, i am looking for some help, i sent out my motor a year ago while i was over in afganistan and had it rebuilt, i have been home for a while but i just now am getting to putting it all back together. the issue i have is i never marked the ends of the wiring harness, whic i should have but when i pulled the motor i had that night to pull it and ship it out the day i left back over seas off my 2 week brake. Now im stuck. I have searched the forum and the net for a diagram lay out and found nothing, if any of you have a link to one or even feel like having a RX meet to give me a hand to finish this car i would really like to get it back on the road soon, thanks for any help you guys got.

Here's the pdf of the wiring diagram....should help a bit. Most of the connectors are aesy to figure out....the coil plugs and the sec/P2 injectors are a bit more difficult

Lay out the harness...and connrct the ones that are unique plugs...and then use the wire colors and position to figure the rest out

Thanks this should help for in the morning. hopfully it will be running by the end of the week.

 

I replaced my engine months later, and everything was pretty easy to plug back in. It only fits one way basically.

 

ok so when putting the alt adjustng bracket there is a bolt that seems to be to short and yes i pulled out the other ones just to see if they where switched but they where not, any buddy run into this before??????

 

I may be able to stop by and give some help this weekend. Ive never had the rx8 apart but I'm pretty handy with a wrench and have had many other cars in pieces before. I'm about an hour from you. Hit me up if you are gunna be out there this weekend. pm me for #

 

I will be working on it fri and sun i have my sisters going over seas send off sat, i am a mechanic my self and anyone is more than welcome to stop by this weekend if weather holds out,
