is there any one around dayton ohio on here and is there any rx8 meets?? please help new to this !!

 

I'm a new 8 owner from Lebanon. Alot of the cincy guys are in the nky/cincy lounge but im not sure of any Dayton people since im new lol

 

Check out ohio-rotaries.com. There are some active RX7/8 guys and girls in the dayton area that post quite often there. Off hand, I don't know of an active Dayton thread here. As Spidey said, we have a pretty active NKY/Cincy thread in the Midwest section.

Yup, we're pretty close. My 8 seriously needs a set of tires before I go cruising, though. Maybe I could do a meet in my 7...

anyone know of a good mechanic for my 8? i am here for training in dayton, got a CEL today while racing my friend on his bike, at around 3rd gear 80 mph it popped... and it wont go away... want to get the code read. thanks in advance

 

Take it to your nearest Advanced Auto, AutoZone, or Oreillys they can hook them up for free. It doesnt fix the problem but it can point you in the right direction.

 

Do you know who drinves the black 8 in town? He always revs at me going the opposite way and/or acts like a clueless uno kid. I just want to be like dude quit acting like a fart canned econo-car driver...grow up

 

I am in Beavercreek and am also a relative newbie having purchased my 8 in February.

There is a come all car show each Friday night by the Lofino's grocery store off at Fairfield and US 35. I am usually the only 8 there amongs the tens of mustang and corvette clones...

dan how often do you go to this and what time is it ?

 

I usually go after work on Friday so i get there around 5:30-6pm. From what I have heard, folks start showing up around 4. I usually park in the section farthest from the grocery store over by the closed dealership. Along the loop road that surrounds the shopping center.

Another important detail is that there is a Beef O'Brady's in the shopping center. A good place to grab a beer as well.

Weather permitting, I plan on going this upcoming Friday...

I am in the Troy area. I have a yellow 8 with factory ground effects. But actually in the process repairing mine after a crash.

 

I have been searching but I'm going to "wake-up" this section lol. I'm generally near the Springboro area. Anyone know of any events happening? I'm in the other thread also keeping an eye out .

Columbus Ohio here. My wife and I were just in Tipp City last weekend for the
