In the last month or so, there have been many death from Street Racing in Connecticut. A few of the local speed and performance shops have gotten together to form a rally in protest of the state of Connecticut to get us a drag strip in CT. They are looking for people with cars to come up to CT's Capital to Rally In protest. This will be a peaceful protest with no burnouts or reckless actions. so cops can pull us over for any infraction and we can get tickets?.....i dont mean to thread crap but there has got to be a better idea....have you tried contacting race tracks or shops to sponsor land?

 

yeah thats all been done already... I'm nearly a messenger here, so far there are 7700+ name on the petition to the state to open a new Drag Strip. The person advocating this happens to be a very good friend of mine, he asked me to get it out to the people the best way I can. He's also word on possibly that Mohegan Sun sponsoring land for a new Drag Strip...

 

I signed the petition already, but getting a bunch of supped up cars to go to the capital will just make them look down on the cars.

 

It's goign to be a peaceful respectful protest, to show the state that most of the people who want a track are not just kids wanting to get there jollies on going fast, but people from 20-60 who want to be safe driving at night without speeding kids racing.
