Hey guys, ive been with the forum for only a lil bit because whilst i was in Australia i was looking for a good used car, Found her a new Candy Apple Red RX8 2004 with 17,000 miles on her.

Im new to the road rules/laws for window tints, and how strict the cops are here on what you do to your car? How dark can your windows be?? What attracts the cops here???

And i know there are a few Posts going on about meets,

But is there a Certain place that has OFFICIALLY been used for a RX8 Meet?
Or is it always in the air and nobody really knows where to always go??

 

Tints i think are the only mod that cops will bug you about and thats if they got nothing better to get you for or just feel like being a ars. Um Becareful on "the Pike" witch is RT15 in newington/berlin area. altho tons of cars do go out there,

I know driving down 84 i saw so many highway patrol pieces of **** lol
The undercover cop cars or also known as "unmarked cars" are so obvious in CT,

-Very generic color
-Slighty tinted windows
-Big *** **** intenna hanging out the *** end of the car
-Bull bar on the front
-And the all mighty bald tires with no hub caps Lol

 

other thing ALL state cop cars marked or unmarked Licenes plates are like this, this does not aply to local or city PD,

If you follow the road rules then most of the time the cops wont bother with you. But it also depends on where you are at. In CT the window tint laws are that you can have the back window be 5% and the side windows can be 35%. I on the other hand have the back three windows as 5% and the front two are 35%. In my old car i had 5% for the back window and 20% for the side windows and i would be fine every where i went except for the town i lived in because the cops there had nothing eles to do. If you dont want to be hassled by the cops then i would say to have legal tint and also have a exhaust system that is not extremly loud. I have been pulled over before in my old car and given a $225 ticket for the exhaust being to loud.
