Central NJ local meets on Thursday Nights

i thought this was supposed ot be central nj edgewater is almost at new york.
im with stinksause meet to far lol and i live in south jersey(closer to central jersey but still considered south)
google maps estimated like almost 2 hours drive with traffic

This meet was in Flemington...
ok... CJRC is somewhat still alive... but not really
there is only a few of us left... we can try to revive it, but the meets will have to be changed to the weekend... is anyone up for that?

lumberton,nj stinksause and for me the thursday meet at sonic is closer than edgewater (about 35 minutes with traffic)
and if this is being moved to the weekend im up i just dont want to go to far until friday when my coils and wires get here.(stupid cel p0300 and p0301 from misfire)

yeah dude ... I wouldn't drive my car AT ALL before you get your coils ... I am from Bethlehem, PA ... I think the Thursday night is your best bet, but I dunno how often they do it now ...
it's a HUGE meet, usually 100+ cars, but the rotary showing is almost all rx8's and there are usually 5-10 of us there when I used to go back in the summer. I still keep in touch with the guys and I don't think they go there that often.
I would highly recommend the Tuesday night meet in East Rutherford ... its pretty much rotary only but the guys are real chill. Thursday night in philly gets a bit shady at times as far as car meets go and cops love to creep on the meet

yea i know and i can never make tuesday meets im at work.
and theres a tuesday meet closer to me anyway its not all rotaries but i friends with who started the meet. and its literally right across the street from my job so if anything i can go over on break or something.
and yea my coils are getting here tomorrow my wires got here today putting them on after this post
if i could go without driving at all i would but i pick up my lil sis everyday from her school so i just play it safe. i did reset ecu on the car to see if cel would come back on so far nothing but i can tell at least one of the coils is bad as when it comes down from rpm to idle it dips down lower than usual then picks back up(was low enough that it almost stalled my car), meaning that one coils is down and the other plug is just barely working to keep the rotor spinning normally but at least cause i reset the ecu its taken to it and found a way to make it work untill friday .
so i should be safe for at least one more day hopefully and
i cant make it to any meets now thursday or this weekend as no gas money. the company i ordered my coils from had a coupon for online checkout 35 off 85 or more order which i used then i checked later to find a extra 35 charge that wasnt supposed to be there so now that charge caused an overdraft and im 70 in the hole. so i have to wait for them to send back the money and pay the overdraft which i just faxed my bank transactions to them today so i have a couple days of waiting.

There is a consistent number of rx7s and rx8s that always come out ... there are usually 10 - 20 cars there every week. Usually, s2k, an mr2, 240, porsche or ferrari makes a showing too. NO CIVICs .... haha ... there are plenty of those at the Sonic though

if i didnt have work every tuesday night i would stop by but im on site from 9pm -7am the one near me is the farthest i can go away from site without getting in trouble
and its used to be the best buy meet by the moorestown mall which got moved to where the bally fitness is and sports authority used to be
when the meet used to be at best buy used to have 100+ cars then the new lease owner had problems with it even though the cops in the area were cool with us there and had no problems with the previous lease owner.
