Tony whats your plan with the wet sanding? are you trying to remove the ripple effect on the clear coat?

 

yeah it would take care of all my swirls/scratches and remove the orange peel effect

 

I say we put my new RB midpipe on at the meet, somebody bring a floor jack and an impact wrench!

i think he was talking about me. maybe if i had anyone around to HELP ME i mightve been able to do it. the ceej is pretty weak this summer. it makes me want to put a chinchilla in a blender

 

yeah. the cjrc was kinda lame in terms of meets and stuff. need to get more organized. the sushi meets are pretty awesome tho. you should all make it out to the next one, its in pa so itll be close.

I say hopefully because last time I brought it in they told me it wasn't blown enough for Mazda to replace it. Thing went with less than 3k miles on it so any amount of broken is too much. /rant.

 

Lets hope the rain stays away tomorrow night.

Sorry Tony.. I told you it was a pain and I'm not tackling it.. should have paid the couple of bucks in the first place.

Same goes for the new midpipe install. Just get a shop to do it... those bolts are a PITA.



Wetsanding.. tony.. you going to find a very reputable shop. Supposedly the factory clear on the 8's are not that thick. So they have to go pretty slow and careful to make sure they don't go down too far.
