yo
any one know of any good shops in central NJ that do good reliable work?like installs, engine work and tuning. any shops to stay away from also would help? heard of Elite auto in Hamilton and there's a shop in Edison and a shop in spotswood not sure if any of there's are any good. any help would be great.

i would be really careful with any random shop that says they know rotaries

i make the trip to pennsylvania, KDR to have dave work on my car. Great price, great customer service, and he only works on rotaries.

Ok, as for the shop in Spotswood Nj. that's called MRCPerformance and after hearing about a speedforce racing kit that was installed by them that detonated the car and blew up the engine, that's the last shop I'd recommend. They also only specialize in Z's and g35's. So ever since that they've sworn not to even touch an 8. Also says alot for the speedforce racing kit. As for edison I'm not too sure what shop your talking about,however rumor has it there is a pro shop down in lawrence harbor that specializes in exotics. A friend of mine had an Sc300 swapped in with the 2JZGTE setup and the car performs beautifully. That's my 2 cents.

there is a shop in southern NJ.. www.jprimports.com... i havent gone there ever but i have read some threads on here and he supposedly does great work. Rotary only.

JPR and KD (kim and dave) shops are my choice.
kdr use to work on my rx7 and they are very well respected in the rotary community.

U can check MOTHER"s PERFORMANCE in LODAI,nj on rt46,they work on my 8 and installled the turbo on my car when it had 26k now i have 72k turbo and engine are still gOOD,,hehehe(FINGERS CROSS),GOODLUCK!!!

stay away from mother's unless you use there dyno and you bring your own tuner.

maximum auto sound and performance in garwood. they do all my work. the website is maximumautosound.com them out, good guys. they did all my work, greddy turbo kit, tunning, greddy coilovers and electronic controll, mazda speed kit, full system, strut tower bars front and rear, and sways front and rear. the car isnt done yet but if you go buy it should be in there. jon
