I need help and I know this Thread could be beneficial to all.

Lets compile a list of the TOP RX8 TUNER SHOPS in the NE Forum.
If you put a shop up, try to put there name and contact info for them. There isn't enough info on proven install and tuning shops in the NE area. Others maybe having the same problem I am. Wanting to get tuning done but can't find a shop in this area that has a good rep. or any credibility with the RX8 engine. So calling all NE Forum members. If you know of a shop that you feel has proven itself to be skilled at the RX8. POST POST POST

 

Synaptic 3 Engineering in NH they proved themselves to me with all the rotary stuff they had in their shop plus Pettit has authorized them to be a offical dealer so that has to say sumthing to me atleast. I can't find their business card atm but they have a thread created in our regional forum already Great bunch of guys and would recomend them again to anyone like I am now.

this is looking better than at first glance. This looks like a good list to work with.
Now here on this list though pros and cons.
first is that I know that KDrotary WAS one of the best for the 8 and I know that a few others on the list have built there rep on the RX7 however in the case of KDRotary I know that there product has not been good as of late. I know at least 2 shops and more than 4 to 5 people who have bad exsperiences with KDRotary on 8's. blown engines and bad tuning kinda problems. That is the kinda information that makes them seem more unreliable to me. From what I have learned of KDRotary it isn't dave that is the problem it is more the newer people working in the shop. Confrim this by some of the bad post i read months ago.
but what about the other companies listed. good/bad info. personal exsperiences etc. lets keep this going.

Not for nothing but I called there once and the guy was a dick... sounded like he didn't want to do what I wanted... gave me a rediculous price (so rediculous I would have been better off going to my Mazda dealership) and when I asked about doing the work on a Saturday, he gave me a hard time and said he didn't want to do it on a weekend. Needless to say a 5 minute conversation with this guy was less impressive. Then again this was just my experience.

from personal experience i havent heard anything bad from JPR in south jerzee . Cant say the same for the NY shops, from my experience they all SUCK!

Also Anybody have info for our boys in MD. or upstate NY, VT, Delaware.

Any reputable shops w/ good rotary skills in these areas or does NJ/PA have a lock on the shops?

 

Jesse Martello in Somers, CT is a rotary mechanic and does excellent work. Number is 860-978-2687. As far as actual shops/businesses you can not go wrong with KDR.
