Calling all Richmond area 8's ~ 100 mile radius!
 

We at www.hr8c.com are looking at taking a Sunday drive up to Richmond in hopes of meeting and hanging out with other 8 owners. The proposed dates are March 5th or March 12th. If anyone is interested in meeting up and/or knows of a good location we can hang for a few hours (Food, Drink & a lot with space), please chime in.

I'm here, sorta, but I'm you know, still in NC, but home on the weekends!!! Hell I might even be in on the fifth or 12th *maybe* whats the occasion of going up to Richmond though?

It does seem like central Va. is lacking on enthusiasm Vice! Should be plenty of 8's on this forum. Maybe their shy! Could be your avatar! :dunno:

Yeah.. I know about those meets, but they are held later.
My idea was to have a group of our 8's get some group drive time. It seemed that the Richmond area was not too far for us or many other locals and should have a pretty large 8 population. Just thought it would be cool to take a drive somewhere outside of our bubble and meet other owners. From what I can see there is not a whole lot of activity... or care from northern area 8 owners.
Fine by me. I thought it was a decent idea... turned out to be a dud! :)

Vice don't dump the idea yet! The spring fever is about to hit. Once a couple of beautiful Sundays roll through the state, we'll get somebody ready to drive. If we can work out the timeing, I'd love to breach the 100 mile radius and drive over to Richmond for a meet.

Okay, here's an old thread that needs reviving.

In the mean time, I'll be in Richmond the 2nd, 3rd and 4th. Tuesday and Wednesday at night. Anyone up for a beer/coffee? I will be in my 8, so it could be a mini-meet. :mdrmed:

I might be interested on Wednesday night if you like the Wizards, lol. Not much of a coffee drinker but I can't resist a good beer. What area will you be in?

I'll be in the Short Pump area snizzle, near the CarMax. Homewood Estates I think is the hotel. Our work day, after dinner, usually ends around 8:00. I did see a Starbucks, now since you don't do coffee, you'll have to find the beer. :ylsuper:

Thanks for the effort Snizzle. We just got back from dinner. I think we're headed to a tavern just down the block from the Homewood Suites. Walking distance maybe!! Much better for the condition we may be in coming home ... :Freak_ani

By the way, saw a silver and a velocity red today! Never see two in two days back home.
