I'd love to go!

I'm definatly game. Let me know when you are thinking. Not often you get to see such cars in your back yard... though I must say there is really nice Bugatti collection owned by a doctor in my home town.

Really beautiful cars.

Tigger,
From what I understand, he has one of the largest privately owned collection of Bugattis in the US. I've seen a couple of his cars and even helped to make a stained glass window of his favorite car but I've never had the pleasure of seeing the whole collection.

my10ae,
The more people that better.

Yea, I know the architect that designed his garage... got a nice tour one day.

He also services all his cars at NMS, so I used to see quite a few of them there... back in my High School days when my 86 GTI with 200,000+ miles used to frequent there shop... great car... but at 200k... things just start to need a lot of constant attention :D

Man would I love to see Jay Leno's garage! That would be incredible!

Yeah, bring your son. I'm sure that he'd like to ogle at all of the cars just like the rest of us.

Sunday May 22nd would work best for me. Will that work for everyone else?

I am not sure on that date yet,but it sounds good to me.Do you think bringing a 2-1/2 year old to this is smart?

I would like to meet some of you guys. The MA RX-7 club is cool, but they don't have enough gatherings anymore.Maybe I need to throw something together.

I don't have a lot of experience with kids that age. So I think that you would better at making that call.

I imagine that we will be checking out the cars and hanging out for a couple of hours. If you think that he would be OK with that then definitely bring him along.

i went down to see this when it first opened. not a lot of cars there, but wow... it's an amazing show just the same. the McLaren is impressive, but i thought the '38 bugatti 57SC stole the show...
there were actually quite a few families there, the cars are up on platforms and fairly safe from kids.. so i wouldn't worry too much about that.

Hey guys,

I've had a couple of recent requests to schedule the track tech day on May 22nd and move the Boston MFA event up to this Sunday May 15th.

Will that work for everyone or should we stick with Sunday May 22nd?

It sounds like we are going to have a small group this Sunday (Spin9k, Mazdax605, and myself). Did I miss anybody?

Anyways, I'm open to suggestions on where and when to meet.

well I have no idea of how to get there, and I am really bad around Boston. You guys will be coming in from the north, and I am coming from the south.Do you guys know how to get there?Do either of you have the NAV system?I could even come north of the city, and meet up with you guys if it is easier. As far as time goes,I have a meeting with my builder in the morning at 10am,and I will be free after that.I also have a friend from work with an Acura RSX type-S that wants to go.Let me know what you think.

Hi Guys,

As tickets were $22 each, I just went to the web site and got the dual/family membership to the MFA and then immediately redemed that for two complimentary tickets to the car show at 2PM. You get discounted parking, food, other events, so it seemed worthwhile.

We should likely meet at the entrance probably 15 min prior to 2pm, then enter as a group.

Does that sound good for everyone? After we can eat somewhere and have a chance to talk and get further aquainted .

Cheers, spin9k

Speed Racer has a NAV, I don't , but I used to live in Somerville, so I can find it no problem. I'd suggest Mapquesting it and just diving in from the south Mazdax605. By the time you caught up w/SP up north and came back in that way, I'd guess you'd wish you hadn't

Alternatively, you guys hook up however you wish if that help you.

If you go to the site, they say they sell out, and it appears that the auto show has specific time for entry in 1/2 hr increments, so it looks NOT just to be general admission, you have to pay esp for this. Probably like a IMAX movie, you need a ticket.

So yes, you should get them soon, even right now
