What jackasses man. Your dealer reminds me a lot of my dealer. There's something about NE mazda dealerships.

That's beyond fucked up Sokim. Sorry to hear of your troubles... I always go to Wellesley Mazda and have yet to have a problem. :knocks on wood: They've always been extra nice to me there, never have said anything about the AEM or Greddy. I am curious to see if they say anything about the coilovers.

As far as I know and correct me if I am wrong, but you have a Mazdaspeed intake, last time I checked that was a dealer part. Hence the MAZDAspeed? Sheesh. And last I heard was they could not void an entire warranty on aftermarket parts unless the problem was in direct correlation with the aftermarket part in question. Again I could be wrong, it's been a loooong time since I worked in the shop.

No offence, but better you than me, I would have been in the paper if that happened to me. At least if anything we know not go to there!

Shitty. Keep us updated!

Hey krysy good hearing from you. Yes i do have a mazdaspeed intake, but that intake does not void warranty at all because it comes from mazda, it's not after market. It even comes with a 12k mile warranty. Hopefully all goes well. Also nobody could give me answer to when i asked them to show me the aftermarket parts they were talking about. They just kept saying we can charge you just for looking into this you know. Just trying to intimidate me and play the guilt trip.

He even tried to tell me that when i got my car inspected a week ago it probably set it off. I said no it came on before that and then it went back off and came back on after inspection. Probably trying to say that would void the warranty to, to get a CEL from an inspection.

WTF?!? That's just sooo wrong, man! I (as well as other members) saw your car at the Castle Island meet; it was bone stock, except for the Mazdaspeed CAI, which ISN'T an aftermarket part.

I'd call MNAO and report Ira. You should do it just so that they won't (wistful thinking?) jerk other people around like that.

I've had good luck with 128 Liberty in Wakefield. Hopefully, I'll be able to go there for as long as I own the 8.

Good luck, man!

thank the jeebus~ i was real worried for you that it wouldn't end well.
a decent dealer is worth its weight in gold it seems.

It is a shame some people are willing to put up with stuff like this (which is why they probably thought they could get away with it).
