Alright guys so I just recently bought my Rx8, and everything was great at first. But about a week ago the clutch started to slip. And I was trying to just limp it along until this weekend so I could do the clutch myself. Now yesterday I was driving to work and in order to keep the car moving I have to leave it in first or second gear and has to be revved high constantly. And while I was driving all of the sudden CEL starts flashing and the motor dies. This happened 2 times before I got it towed. Got it back to my shop and Pulled a random misfire code and a P2004 APV code. So I'm wondering if just having the engine constantly running at 6k + rpm could cause this issue.
