I don't have my 8 yet, but seeing tomorrow is my birthday and this was all I wanted this year from my family, it shouldn't be too far off. I'm getting things in order so hopefully as soon as I get home my car will be in the garage waiting for me!
I've been looking for some local 8 owners too because I know I'll surely get sucked into this whole scene instantly! You Rochester people probably know where Batavia is; I live just outside of Batavia. If Geneva is it I could surely do that; I'll be home and will more than likely have my car in two weeks at the very most. I'm looking at an '05 GT in Rhode Island at the moment... Brilliant Black with about 31k on it - I think it's the one!

Hey my boy who lives in Rochester, he has a RX-8 and does RX-7 and RX-8 meets around the area, ususally in the summer time. If you want to get together don't hesitate to contact him. his information is

I'm seeing a lot of RX8 in the Rochester area. It's a good time to plan a meeting, but I'm not sure what's a good place in the area. I some cars gatherings at a few Tom Wahl's during the summer months. I'm sure someone in our forum has a place in mind.

Victor and I have them talking about June 27th. Reason why is that we like to get stuff together....I live in Brooklyn NY and I'm trying to get a few guys from NYC to caravan with me.
I know everyone wants to meet with other people, weather is great and stuff. If you guys need any type of work on your RX-8 I could give you guys my boss info. He has a race shop out of webster. We have three RX-8 that we use for endurance race. The shop does suspension, roll cage, custom stuff. We do alot of SCCA, and NASA race.

Do they do performance stuff? I might need help doing a Supercharger install next year. I'll be up at Ft. Drum. (a drive, I know.)

How big is the meet? What time in the Summer? If it's big enough and large enough I'll take the four hour trip on Rt 11 to check it out.

Damn too far upstate
I live in rockland and for another couple months i'm not allowed to drive in jersey i wonder how far the meeting place would be probably awhile but let me know since i'm barred from jersey lol

Seneca Park. May 24th. Where does everyone live at. I always like to meet at a gas station then do a caravan to the park. Meeting time would be like 10a.m. So if everyone would llike to tell me where they live at in Rochester I would do a center point...
