OK, time for SIGNUP for next weeks RX8 Charity Smackdown.
I need names! And, I'm sweetening the pot. In addition to the winner getting a $15 off coupon on a NORA run, I'm throwing in free t-shirts to the top 5 RX8 owners.
Show Meg you care. She me your name! BTW - I'm planning on winning my own prize, so there!

I notice several of us signed up for the HPDE event in October. Were people planning to get lodging out there for the Saturday night or commuting back and forth? It's one of those awkward distances that is doable but just far enough away to be a pain. I'm leaning toward staying the night.
Just letting everyone know some updates for the event:
> Racing on street tires...
> Racing in "groups" where each individual time is combined with your "teammates" for the best group time of the day (this may be randomly selected, or may be choose your teams the day of)
> Also working on some nice prizes myself, with Kumho, Summit Racing and other vendors
(as with the tire change, classes will be updated appropriately)

Start of the day: 'Sweet! We got an RX-8. That should help our times!'
End fo the day: 'Effin' rotary newb.'
Hahaha, same here as far as the tires. And no worries, i've got a good amount of torque, and does it help me a lot, no... stupid fwd, newb driver. lol. You won't be the only new one out, trust me.. I've recruited some new guys to come out at least for this event

Got my midpipe installed..... WOW!
I absolutely love it!
SOOOOOOOOOO much better than my single resonator mid-pipe.
I still need to do a run with this mid-pipe to finish the video, which will have to wait until tomorrow morning because there are too many vehicles on the road now.
Ryan: Sorry... no DIY video.
My friend was in a hurry to get it done because he needed to go to bed before work tonight, so I didn't want to take up anymore of his time.
But if you ever do decide to get a mid-pipe and install it yourself, I'll be more than happy to help you out.

) and really isn't worth it until next year. Glad it sounds as good as advertised. Looking forward to seeing the flames.

That's what I was thinking.... just wasn't sure!
