AHHH!!! NYC F' you, your drivers and your roads!!
Just two days ago I was driving my mother's car on the FDR (north bound). Going 50 MPH or so because i'm conserving gas. Very little cars on the FDR at that time. I pass the Williamsburg Bridge right after I exited off the Brooklyn Bridge onto the FDR. ABout a 1/4 mile after the Wills Bridge. No car's in front or besides me at the moment and I'm traveling Out of no where I heard a loud "BANG!!" coming from the right side of the car. Something f'ing hit me!!
I couldn't stop on the side of the road because there IS no "side of the road". I wasn't far from my exit anyways. I finally got off at 34th street, stopped by the helicopter pads to check the car out. As i slowly walk to the right side of the Infiniti, I gasp. A ******* DENT and a deep scratch!! AHH!! W T F?!! How the hell did that happen?! I check the damage closer and there's a deep 2x2" dent on the rear passenger door and a 2x3inch scratch all the way down to the metal. There is also about a 1 inch long scratch on the fender molding.
How the F'?!? Did a chunk of metal or meteor hit me out of no where?! Or did some ******* from the right side of the FDR (there is a park along the FDR) decide to throw something at me? I don't know.
I'm tired of ******** in NYC, craptastic roads, road rage, etc etc. I'm sure that fellow NYC drivers can relate to me. I get at least 5 situations where I'm going along the crappy roads without a problem, following traffic, and out of no where an ******* decides to **** with me just to reduce 0.5 second of his traveling time to point B.
The very same day I got hit by a rock, I was f'ed with by 2 drivers taxi/commercial drivers for no reason at all. They thought that I didn't close the distance between my front bumper and the rear bumper of the car in front of me enough (i was less than a car length from the car in front of me). There was freaking bumper to bumper traffic! For those who drive in Manhattan 35th street towards the Queens Midtown Tunnel during Friday rush hour will know.

nro I am sorry to hear that. i used to live down town and I know exactly where that is and what you are tlaking about. I used to drive to work everyday due to the train station in LES sucks horse ****.
It really sucks man I hope insurance dont give you **** about it but it is the price we pay to live in NY....
just take it easy it seems like the traffic and driving conditions in nyc has been getting to you for a while...it'll be OK. just ignore the losers (cabbies) and every other retard turd sucker out there...

i hear ya i've gotten mmy old car side view mirrors knocked off my car by another car...
both times while my car was parked close to sidewalk and i was in the car

in all my years of driving, the two years I lived in NJ resulted with 3 cars being totaled. None of which was my fault. All other locations I've driven had no issues.
I consider NY and NJ basically the same thing.
