I just got my 8 back in late December after my Protege 5 got totaled and I really haven't seen anyone around in VA or any where else in VA that seems intrested in tuning it. I was wondering who out in the forums live around me so that maybe we can meet up occasionally possibly get a club going. I live in Newport News by the way.

Hello, I live in Norfolk. There are several 8 owners around here, but there doesnt seem to be a lot of interest in getting a club together or just meeting somewhere. I will try to find the threads and post them in here for you of the other attempts to get together. If you have any luck, dont forget to let me know!

There is a truck enroute to the dealership from the port. The port manager did not return their call asking if the Shinka was on that truck. If it is, we will see it at the meeting. If it isn't

And these guys are awesome too- set up the first RX-8 meet in VA in Danville in 2003- it was AMAZING- logistics messed it up in 2004, unfortunately. I keep telling TreknMazda I'm going to make it up there one day for one of their meetings- it will happen, really- I've just been very lazy.

BTW ninedeep nice effin 8. Unfortunately if I go to a meeting I won't be turning as much as heads as all of you I'm still all stock. :-\

Thanks for the compliment! Sorry i couldnt make it last night. We have been working on tunning the 8 and it cut fuel about a mile away from the gargae last night in attempts to make it to the meet. While you guys were in a nice warm fudruckers we were pushing the 8 down the road in the cold. There is always next month!

I also live in Norfolk and on my way to work yesterday at *** on RT 564 there were 2 other RX8s - one blue with an exhaust, one titanium grey with personal plate. not sure if either of them are on the boards though.

i'd be up for meeting some night or on the weekend.
