Sorry about the damage. My sunlight silver 8 looks exactly the same right now. Gonna be $1,000 to get mine fixed. Hope the insurance check comes in soon.

I've always gone to Matchless with my previous car - they do decent work, I don't know how they compare to other shops though. It's about 5 miles west of Tyson's on the right just before the light at rt. 606.

Maximus - Sorry to see/hear about the damage. When my car was rear-ended last April and most of the back-end was destroyed (repair was $8k) I took it to WAGONWORKS at 3406 Jeff Davis Highway, Alexandria, VA 22305. Phone - 703-684-2985. They did a MAGNIFICENT job restoring my 8. Wagonworks is a high end repair shop. They work mostly on BMW, Porsche, and other high performance vehicles. I was very satisfied with their work. They got it right the first time. My 2 cents.

pmacwill & positron,
Thanks for the tip. I'll definately check these places out.

Someone mentioned that if you have the repairs done at your dealer they report it to CARFAX.

Does this mean if you do this at another body shop it won't be reported to CARFAX?

I would highly recommend "Performance Autobody" on Euclid street in Manassas. I just had mine done there (again) after hitting a deer. They do a PERFECT job and they really care and guarantee their work (including color match).

Mine is Titanium and that is hard to match, but they have done so twice. You cannot tell it has been painted.

Sorry about that. You may want to try Brown's Fairfax Mazda. They really have a good team there. They have always been honest with me and I have recommended them before aswell.
