Hey, I've avoided driving in the rain for almost a year, ok, drove once in the way back from CT. Hope you guys are ready to wash/wax my car when I get there, lol. Looking to start driving out there early this afternoon after I make sure the kids have stuff in the house.

 

let the kids fend for themselves, it builds character. i wouldnt bother washing/waxing your car, its a driving meet not a car show.

 

I would but wife still babies them, 19 and 21, living at home, getting 3 squares, laundry and room service, wish it was like that for me at that age, damn, I was a war vet at 20, lol.
But seriously, good kids, both in college full time, both work and paying their way, one even has 2 PT jobs. I guess we are doing something right.

 

i guess, i moved out at 18 and still in high school. i started paying rent at 15, had a full time job at 16 and bought all my own ****

lol, forgot to mentioned mine have 2 nice cars too, 2010 Avenger and 2016 Mazda 3 GT, but guess who gets to pay for the insurance . I was driving a 1979 Opel Ascona at 19, I miss that car.

 

I've paid for my own stuff since I was 16-17. I keep trying to give my parents rent money but they just wont take it

My dad had me working as soon as it was legal. Anything I wanted, I had to buy. Also a vet at 20
