Darn, got my windows tint %15 all around. Did not have front license plate on so got pulled over with a fix it ticket. I need to take it to the DMV to inspect once I put on the front plate and remove the tint on the driver/passenger and suicide doors. Just had it put on less then a month ago. I have now put on the front plates but don't yet want to give up my tints yet.



Ticket does not show the license plate number and only says a red 2004 rx8. Just shows what needs to be fixed, inspected and signed off by a DMV inspector. Any fellow RX8 with a velocity red that does not have their driver/passenger windows tinted mind letting me borrow their car for 5 minutes just to show that the tint has been removed and the front plates has been put back on?

You should had read up on your state's laws before applying tint and removing the front license plate. It's your own damn fault.

 

If the ticket has no plate number, how does he files it

 

Not sure how he filed it but the pink fix it ticket just has my name address info along with the year, color and model of the car. List of the two things I need fixed.

 

That blows...I have no front plate a 20% all around...in fact every car I have ever owned has been that way...never got a ticket for tint and the front plate is only $50...ive only gotten two tickets for no front plate...

 

I'm tinted all around and no front plate (NJ)

Have been pulled over for it twice and no tickets, warnings, etc.
But It helps to have a family Gold PBA card
