looking for an 04 manual trans, rx8 engine. Just mainly looking for the short block, wont need any front accessories or any manifolds/injectors etc.

Please provide vin number, and if you have a compression test, that is definitely a plus.

I will consider selling the car with the bad engine, for the right price. It was over heated and the blew the side seals out. All 4 coils are still good, recent clutch less than 10k miles ago. I work as a tech at a mazda dealership, so I can easily get all of the maintenance history on the car.

I have a rx8 mt engine, no idea what year it came out of. It does have some stampings on it but no vin plates. I purchased it two years ago from a small shop in Southern Wisconsin that stated the car was totaled in an accident then purchased back by the owner, the owner then paid the shop to remove all useful parts and seel them. The shop then was able to keep the motor as a partial payment for the work. I can send pictures if needed.
