The car is currently on stands in my garage, getting a new S2 transmission, lightweight flywheel and a hitch. I might try to have a single-exit exhaust made, as well.

55k miles, third engine, about to have its third transmission.

 

Nice. Damn i would love to hear your beautiful car do you have any videos? We should meet up someday possibly start a crew of 8s in IL that would be awesome if your interested.

The mods i have on my 8 is.. Single HKS Exhaust, Racing Beat Midpipe Catless(New) Not really digging the race pipe but i am thinking of buying the BHR. My next purchase will be Headers and Coils.

I can't remember whether the car had the race cat in it or not in that video, but it sure sounds like it. I have a 'straight' midpipe that I had a 100cpi cat welded in to. It goes through a Greddy SP2 after that, and I'd like to have something lighter made. The SP2 is sort of heavy and those giant tips melt the rear bumper cover on the track.

Awesome ride! I'm looking at trying to get one for myself. I've always wanted an RX8 since I was little, and now that I'm able to get one it seems there's none to be had around Illinois!
Also, I'm pretty sure someone that works at Mattoon walmart owns a white RX8. Not sure what year, but it looks gorgeous.
