Well Im royaly F'in pissed... I get back from Jersey and my 8 greets me by throwin a CEL and the tailight which I had just replaced the gasket on is all ****** fogged up again ugh trip to the dealership tomorrow as if I dont have enough to do already....

cel is probably your exhaust. and the taillight might be a slight crack or you tightened it too tight after the new gasket.

 

naa man i torqued it to specification and the fogging problem is a know issue on these cars the exhaust shouldnt be the cause of the CEL stock CAT is still on but weel see tomorrow

 

Mazda up here is really startin to **** me off, it was my crankshaft position sensor, and they still dont even have the part in!!! I took my car in last wednesday! good news is my Efini badge finally showed up.

 

Looks like my 8 will be ready to go by this Saturday morning all she'll need is a bath.. See you guys in Columbia!

just giving a guess couldn't remember on the cat or not. my driver side fogged up once on me too but mine has a small crack so chalked it up to that.
oh and btw the sidemarkers and tails are both tinted as of last night. look pretty decent except for the fact that as i was putting the passenger side on i rubbed against it when it was still a little soft. it wasn't tacky anymore but it wasn't fully set up either. will redo them later but they look great past 5 ft =)

 

sry to hear that brett hopefully it get's ready in time by saturday...and charlie if you want you can come to noco and party with me friday night and we'll just go saturday morning, my friend is throwing the party that night also and he has a bigger house than me so it works out good lol And twiztid my passenger side headlight is fogged at the top how do i get it "unfogged" lol

 

need to let the water escape. maybe take it off the car and let it set with the bulb openings facing up and heat it up with a blow dryer to cause the water to evaporate

 

don't i have to take off the front bumper to take out the headlight? cuzz that would suck fat nuts

 

if my car is not done by Saturday i will not be seeing you guys for a while because i will be in jail for beating the hell outta everyone at mazda up here. If it takes them that long to fix my car, i will be PISSED, hell if i dont have my car by Wednesday im gonna be pissed...**** im already pissed. damn

I never took out my headlights but the bumper is one of the easiest i have ever removed.

haha I take that as a challenge! Just got my tires balanced, got my cf rx8 3rd brake light...still waiting on my taillight film and rx8club decals...I backed out on the cf plate backing i had insufficient funds lol O well, but work sucks I don't wanna go at all this week
