Spotting Velocity Red in MI
Luckily had the day off today and took the opportunity with the clear roads to take the car out of the garage (woohoo). Despite the car acting real scary at startup with the revs going up and down for the first 60 seconds or so (cold engine I guess), once I was on the road everything was great.
Spotted a couple of fellow Velocity Reds in the Detroit area, one on the ramp to Northbound M-53 (HIREVIN) and one on Mulvey between Utica and 14 Mile (new owner, no plates).
Just wondering if either of these fellows are on the boards and if so just wanted to say what's up. Plus I was just excited about getting to drive my 8 again and figured I'd post for the hell of it.

Hey Family Man.. I was the one having some fun with ya on M-53..
First time I have been on that new entrance ramp to M-53 and they didn't do a very good job, I could feel the grooves pulling the 8 around

That's cool, Detroit. I had a feeling it might be someone from the boards cause I saw the rotary graphic on your window and your plate indicated that you were a rotary fan.
That area takes some getting used to now that the whole roundabout is finished. I'm sure you will agree that even though the road was not smooth, it still beats the potholes we typically deal with in this area...
C-ya around town sometime...
