I am about to (hopefully) sell a car to a buyer who lives out-of-state, in IN. I'm in IL. Had I sold the car to someone who was going to register it in IL, I was planning on going to the DMV and signing over the title, getting the registration changed, etc. Since he won't be registering the car in IL, that's not an option. Anybody done this before? What's the best approach?
