Yesterday from the golf course I saw a black 8 cruising down the street w/in-transits. This might mean Reagan got their first shipment, I might try calling them soon to see if they're giving out test spins...

Hey Blizz -- if you want a test drive just go to Olsen and ask for Robert Cameron -- he is the internet sales manager -- tell him Jeff sent you. They have a red 6mt and a yellow at.

The black was the first car in at Regan and I think a guy that works at First Data bought it -- saw it in the parking lot there. I feel a little sorry for him -- there were people crawling all over and through that car (including me).

Mine is on the truck from KC and should be here by tomorrow :D

Dealer said it just missed being on the train that derailed

Heh, yeah...it looked like the interior had seen a lot of shuffle action. I know I revved it up a little bit just sitting on the lot, I told the guy "I'd like to hear the rotary rev, but can understand if you don't want people just revving it and then cutting it off immediately". He threw me the keys without regard and said "Hey, it's a demo car"

 

Is this whole train derailing thing for real? It seems that there would have to at least be a news story somewhere. I can't find anything on the net. Where did it happen?

 

See my post in the Discussion forum on the train derailment -- got confirm from Mazda regional rep. He said it occured in Wyoming -- some town like Woodbridge or Woodriver?

 

Watched my 8 get unloaded at 5:05 p.m. today :D Only bad part was the techs were all gone so couldn't do the PDI -- have to wait to pick up tomorrow

Am I glad I stuck with the Titanium!!! I looks awesome in person. Anyone who says it is too dark I think is lying that they have even seen the color -- it is much much lighter than the Mazda 6 titanium. The dealer was trying to get me to switch to the velocity red one in the showroom so he could have the titanium because he thought it was the best color he had seen. They also delivered a black 8 but the titanium was all everyone wanted to look at. People were pulling over on the street next to the dealership while it was being unloaded just to get a look. :D
