Road America thread?

Hey guys...not sure if it's just me, but all the sudden, I can't find any trace of the RA thread that was on here for the past two months. Little hard to miss...about 6-7 pages long...you know.

Any idea where it went? Or how about this...how did it go on the 14th and 15th?! I've been waiting to hear some feedback for days now!

It went well, my shifter broke (the bushing at the bottom) in the first session on Saturday but my wifes parents were able to bring up a spare I had. I only missed one session. Weahter turned out to be great both days with Sunday being a little warmer. There are some pics on the Chicago site. I got some video but I'm not sure were I'll load it to, maybe my myspace account, havn't used it in long time though. As for the thread I'm not sure what happened.

From out vantage point in the stands at turns 1 and 12 you looked pretty good out there. We were comparing your line to the guys in A group and yours was pretty spot on to theirs.

Thanks, after I took that ride with guy in the Trans Am i tried to copy his line. I do wish the 8 had the power that Trans Am had. Holy **** that thing could haul *** on the straights and not to bad on the corners.

and most ironically...no one apparently seems to know where, why or how the thread disappeared...

Quick question. I noticed that the inside of my tires are wearing much faster than the outside. I know its due to my camber setting. Rotating the tires front to rear won't do much and I can't put them on the other side due to them being rotstional tires (not sure if that's what their called) Is it OK if I mount them on the rims for the other side?

yea, you can swap directional tires side to side...not cheap though, since you're basically mounting and balancing all four tires.

Or you can just take corners faster

i would only let the dealership do it if its free. too easy to let them charge you for it.

My pc doesn't recognize the camera when i plug it in with the fire wire It might be a bad cable, though it's brand new and worked last week. Maybe I jacked the connectors in the camera, but I can't tell. Don't know what to do other than testing it on another PC.
