I have driving the stocks in a few inches last week and under freezing temps this week in Missouri. Still want to switch them out because ice would have been a major problem. BTW, I was stationed at Offutt, 94-99. Love the Omaha area. Hear Bellevue is growing alot...

I will drive my 8 (with winter rims/tires) some of the time -- drive my 4X4 most of the time -- it is nice to have the option Last winter I drove my 8 all the time and never had a problem. Now that it is lowered and has the MSPEED kit I picked up a 4WD to cruise in the winter.

I SWEAR TO GOD BE CAREFUL DRIVING OEM TIRES HERE IN THE SNOW! the snow we had here last week was not a real test- when the ground is frozen and there is snow, these things are dangerous! I don't drive mine much at all in the winter but I also have a truck- RXhusker drove his all last winter with snow tires and was fine, I however got stuck in the first snow last winter and my car sat for four days but if for some crazy, psycho, nutty reason you drive on oem tires in the winter and find yourself inevitably stuck- quick tip- you will get more traction driving backwards in snow then forwards!!- just be careful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hey new guy we should try to get together for a drive- there are a few other locals ready to do another lunch and drive
